Everplast successfully designed a 95mm parallel twin-screw rubber compounding extrusion line for a new Russian customer
A Russian customer sought to expand the production of “BigDor”, a recycled rubber powder additive for asphalt applications. Independently developed and extensively tested, BigDor has been proven to enhance asphalt durability, extending its lifespan and improving high-temperature deformation resistance compared to conventional asphalt formulas. To scale up BigDor production, customer partnered with Everplast to develop a specialized rubber compounding extrusion line. This system integrates Everplast’s 95mm parallel twin-screw extruder with 7 precision loss-in-weight feeders, enabling the seamless production of 7 different formula ratios as per customer requirements.
The downstream equipment is designed for high efficiency and flexibility—it features three cooling screw conveyors for finished products cooling, while also offering an alternative cooling water tank with a fly cutter for the production of rubber profiles. This setup ensures exceptional production stability and high output, leading to a steady stream of customer orders.
